Hi and welcome! I’m Jill. Wife to Nicholas and mama to George.

I am a Northwest Indiana-based photographer capturing families, couples, babies & children, & seniors. I have been in the business for three years now & every year I fall more in love with what I do!

I’ve always had an interest for all things artsy. Drawing, painting, calligraphy, and cookie decorating are some of my favorites.

Right before Christmas of 2019, I expressed interest to my husband that I wanted a nice camera to capture memorable photos. He delivered, and bought me a Canon Rebel T6. Months went by and I had barely touched my new camera that I was once so excited about. Fast forward to September 2020, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy and he suddenly became my entire iPhone camera roll. That’s when I picked up my camera and decided to learn how to use it. I spent the rest of my maternity leave investing in my new hobby: photography.

I quickly fell in love with capturing beautiful moments in life and before I knew it, I had dreamt up my own business venture. I pitched the idea to my husband and being that he was an MBA student at the time, he was instantly on board. Together, we created George James Photography, named after our sweet boy who sparked my desire.
